Workshops on the hill

Small groups, shared wheels, and the rhythm of a working studio. Courses run from spring through autumn when the hillside light is generous.

Glazes, ash & found materials

Test tiles from local clays and wood ash, gas-firing notes, and how to read a reduction atmosphere. Suited to intermediate makers with some glaze experience.

Summer wheel — weekend intensive

Two long days at the wheel with lunch under the vines when weather allows. Ideal if you want a concentrated restart mid-season.

Artist residency — one month

A light residency: studio bench, kiln slots by schedule, and weekly mentoring with Elena. Bring a clear project in stoneware or porcelain. One place most years.

What to expect

Days usually run morning and afternoon with a long midday pause. Wear clothes that can take clay dust. English and Italian are spoken in the studio. Overnight stays are not provided on site — we can suggest agriturismi nearby in Noceto and Medesano.

Bookings are confirmed by email after we receive your enquiry. A deposit may be requested to hold your place.
